In September 2019 Moston Brook FC have started a walking football section & have entered (3) teams in the 2019 Autumn Session of the ‘Greater Manchester Walking Football League’ at Heywood Sports Centre. The (3) teams cover the age groups for Over 60’s, 65’s & 70’s.

This has allowed players from the past, supported with those who play at Oldham Leisure Centre the opportunity to keep fit and enjoy the banter!

Currently sessions at Oldham Leisure Centre take place at the following times:

Monday 1.00pm – 2.00pm.

Wednesday 10.00am – 11.00am.

Friday 11.00am – 12 Noon.

The ex-players are Dave kinder, Mike Melia, Charlie MacMillan, Eric Henshaw, & Dave Grayson who between them have amassed (3000) appearances at Open Age Level. John Brady who was part of the 1st XI Team Management when they got promoted to the Premier Division of the Lancashire & Cheshire AFL also plays.

The term from ‘Cradle to Grave’ has been used when referring to this additional section within the club.
